Developed in Germany, the Boxer is a breed of stocky, medium-sized, short-haired dog. The coat is smooth and fawn or brindled, with or without white markings.

This is an example of the box model. The gray square that you see above is a container div that is holding the content (two images and a paragraph).

Border

• The border can be a different style, color and thickness. You can also specify the side(s) on which the border will appear.
• ex: The gray container box has a dashed 5px blue border on all sides, while the paragraph about boxers has an orange dotted border on the top and bottom of the paragraph.

Padding

• Padding is the amount of visual space on the inside of a box that cannot be touched by any of the content.
• ex: The box containing the paragraph has a padding of 10px. You can see this difference in space between the text and the edge of the yellow background. The main box also has a padding of 20px all around, which is why the picture of the boxer is not touch the edges.

Margin

• Margin is the space around the box. This pushes everything around the box away from it by as many pixels as specified.
• ex: The image of the boxer shorts has a bottom-margin of 40px which keeps it form touching the bottom border of the gray box.
